The 17th International Symposium on Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Reinforcement for Concrete Structures (FRPRCS17) will be held from July 6 to 8, 2026 in Girona, Spain. FRPRCS17 is jointly organized by the University of Girona, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, the University of Balearic Islands, and the University of Sheffield.

FRPRCS started in 1993 in Vancouver (Canada), has circled around the world, and will arrive in the captivating city of Girona, Spain in 2026. Located in northeastern Spain and known for its rich historical culture, picturesque old town, and exceptional gastronomy, Girona promises a memorable experience for all attendees.

FRPRCS17 will attract interest from researchers, practitioners, and manufacturers involved in the use of FRPs and composite reinforcement for concrete and masonry structures. This includes both new construction and the strengthening and rehabilitation of existing structures. FRPRCS17 will also feature special sessions to spotlight emerging areas, addressing specific interests within the scientific community.
